The Saffire Smokeless Tabletop Fire Pit is an indoor and outdoor fire pit that offers multiple fuel options, such as wood, pellets or charcoal for outdoor use, or gel fuel for indoor and out. It has a thick, high-temp, ceramic shell that unleashes huge benefits over all other tabletop fire pits!
The shell is a whopping ¾” thick giving it more than 15 times the mass of steel units and 40% more surface area. The ceramics are much more insulative and the extra mass absorbs the extra heat and dissipates it over a greater area which reduces the exterior sidewall temperatures by up to 50%!!! This hugely reduces the possibility of burns which are usually instantaneous on steel units.
The modest 9 lb. weight of the Saffire is still over 8 times the weight of similar sized steel units. This weight provides much greater stability and reduces the possibility of getting tipped over.
The high temperature ceramics are finished with a beautiful and extremely durable glaze that is kiln-fired at over 2,000°F! The heat from the fire won’t even phase the ceramics or the glaze and it’s color. Ever! Steel and stainless-steel units most often discolor even on the first use!
The inner firebox of the Saffire is made of corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel for long-lasting durability. Utilizing airflow to the fire and preheated secondary air that burns smoke efficiently, this fire pit produces increased flames while reducing smoke emissions.
