Description

The Build-in Kit is used when placing the grill on or above a combustible surface. The three ceramic feet elevate your grill, providing an insulative air-gap between your grill and the surface beneath it. The stainless steel heat shield actually blocks radiant heat coming off of the bottom of your grill, and safely diffuses it into the air. Whether it is in a built-in island, on a deck or in a Saffire wood cart, you’ll have safe, lower temperatures beneath your grill.

We recommend that you use a Build-in Kit unless you have a non-combustible surface, like granite or marble, that your grill can rest on, which puts at least 1 1/4″ to 1 1/2″ between the bottom of the grill and any lower combustible surfaces.
