Great upgrade to my grill
Was a perfect fit and replacement for my older ceramics
This was an upgrade for my existing Saffire grill. Its a great upgrade. It adds more space for charcoal as well as a very nice ash basket. This along with the multi-tier grater system had made my already great grill even better. It is very well built and was delivered quick. As usual purchasing from Saffire has been quick and easy.

Although I have enjoyed my Sapphire Grill for almost a decade ,the new Crucible firebox takes the experience to another level. The Crucible comes to temperature rapidly, and provides the ability to hold temperatures more accurately. It is efficient with regard to charcoal usage. It uses far less than my previous fire box. I think it has been thoughtfully designed. Seems they have another good addition to an already strong lineup.
I loved my Saffire grill before the new crucible, but my only complaint was airflow and taking too long to get up to temperature. With the new crucible in, it raises the temperature faster and will get hotter with less charcoal than it did before. A worth-while upgrade for sure!!
