World's Most Versatile Outdoor Cooker

High-Temp Searing

Drop the cooking grids down near the fire to quickly sear at temperatures up to 1,000° F. Great for rare, or medium rare steaks, burgers, chops and more. Also great for reverse searing a steak fillet.

Standard Grilling

Bring the cooking grids up to grill foods at temperatures between 400 and 500° F. Great for those who love their meat “done”. Embues slightly more of a charcoal flavor than simply searing.

Oven Roasting

Keep the cooking grids up and use a heat deflector to roast at between 400 and 450° F. Roast foods like whole chicken, roast beef, prime rib roast, potatoes and more.

Baking

Use your heat deflector for convection oven-like baking at temperatures between 250 and 375° F. Baking is ideal for casseroles, lasagna, bread and more. You can even bake desserts like cake and cookies.

Smoking

Put in your heat deflector, for indirect heat, and add wood chips to smoke at temperatures between 200 and 275° F. Smoke almost anything, like ribs, pork shoulder, prime rib and more.

Wood-Fired Pizza Oven Baking

Put a pizza stone down where your heat deflector goes and raise the temperature to 600 to 650° F for authentic wood-fired pizza oven baking. 600° F as measured at the dome is approximately 700° F on top of the pizza stone.

Griddling/Pan-Frying

Put your Saffire Grid Griddle in to griddle or pan-fry anything you like. Pancakes, eggs, bacon strips, sirlon steaks and more.

304 stainless steel is one of the most durable and rust-resistant, food-grade metal alloys available. All of our Platinum models include 304 stainless steel bands, handles, chimney tops, hinges, springs, carts (where included), and side shelves.

Saffire does offer a powder-coated hardware option in our less expensive Bronze lineup, but for the longest-lasting kamado experience, we recommend the 304 stainless steel found in our Platinum lineup.

The 13″ Small Saffire is the most portable Saffire kamado available! Measuring just 23.5” in height, and 22.75” in width, it will fit in a car trunk or backseat fully assembled! It comes with a 304 stainless steel stand with two handles. This portable ceramic grill offers 132 in² of cooking space, enough to cook a meal for 3, or up to 4, adults. The included heat deflector/pizza stone allows for smoking chicken wings or jalapeno poppers, or baking pizza, potatoes or pot pies.
